How to Invoice in a different language with Debitoor
If you do business with customers based outside of your own country (or even your own in some cases), then it makes sense you'd want them to understand what you're invoicing them for- ideally in their own language (and possibly currency).
Creating and sending an invoice in a different language than your own using Debitoor is nice and straightforward. First, click the new invoice button on the invoices page to start your invoice:
Once you have your new invoice open, fill in all the relevant details as usual (or make use of being able to have a customers details filled in if you have them saved as a contact). When you're done adding your products, descriptions, and all other relevant information, look for the language drop down menu under options:
From the drop-down menu, you can choose (click) which language you want your invoice to appear in, like so:
Currently, Debitoor supports invoices in Basque, Catalan, Danish, Dutch, English, Faroese, French, German, Icelandic, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish.
If you also need to change the currency, within the same options menu there is another drop-down so you can select the matching currency for the language your invoice is in:
By clicking on the drop-down menu, you will be presented with a list of currencies:
Once you've chosen the language and/or currency of your invoice, the final result will look something like this:
And that's it- you're all set! Now you can go ahead and send the invoice to your customer in their own language.
