How to easily record other income in your accounts!

Until a few weeks ago, you had to create a negative expense in the Debitoor invoicing and accounting software to register income which doesn’t relate to an invoice that you have created.

And let’s agree that even though it was probably a minor part of your revenue that you had to enter this way, it was not the easiest way in the world to record it.

Continuous development

In the aim of wanting to deliver the simplest and most intuitive Invoicing & Accounting Software to you, we have for sure made the registration of ‘Other income’ way easier.

When to use 'Other income'

The classic example is when you register income from e.g. advertising on your website and receive payments from advertisers once a month. These payments you can now register under 'Other income'.

You will find 'Other income' when you click 'Invoices' and you create it the same way you record expenses. You can specify customer instead of supplier, category, description and of course the amount of your income. You can choose from 0% or 25% VAT.

You can also upload the receipt for each income you register.

Bottom line: Now you register all your income at the 'Invoices'-section in Debitoor.
