I have previously mentioned some of the advantages of voluntary VAT registration. But if you're not making enough just yet to register for VAT, or simply don't see the advantages of registering yet, Debitoor has a brand new feature as of today just for you.
Removing VAT from the invoice
Some of the users have suggested to remove VAT from the invoices, and some have even mentioned that they absolutely have to be able to produce invoices without VAT. So, now you can easily do this.
Yes, that's right, as of today you can remove all mentions of VAT from your future invoices. This option will also apply to invoices in "Draft" mode. However, the invoices you have created earlier will still contain an assigned VAT (if you've selected 0% VAT before, it will stay that way).
Changing the settings
You will find this option under your "Profile" settings under the option to upload your logo.
New invoice template
Once you have applied the new settings you will notice that your invoice template has changed. No more VAT rates in the product line.
If there are special requirement for your company (or in the country you're invoicing) to specify that you're not a VAT registered business under any special circumstances you can use the extra field at the bottom of the invoice. Outline your message and save it as a default so it appears on all of your invoices.
